Dear Friends,

As many of you know, Susie and I have been planning our transition for May 2024 from Rwanda to the US and, from leading KICS & B2TheWorld to being able to fully focus on leading B2TheWorld. We’ve actually been working with both our boards for the last few years and finalized some of the details over the last few months.

We are now in a place where we’ve publicly launched the search for the next Head of School for KICS.

We love KICS and are so excited about how it has grown over its 16 years and especially over the 8.5 years we’ve been entrusted with stewarding its vision, mission, values and most of all its people. What a gift.

We’d be honored if you did the following:

1. Would you pray for the next Head of School of KICS?  We don’t know who this is yet, but we trust the Lord has already been preparing their heart.

2. Would you pray regularly for Team Thomas as we prepare to make a ginormous transition in 16 months?

3. Would you share with those in your network, at least 3 people, who you think would be a great candidate to be the next steward of the KICS Vision, or if you don’t know anyone, would you share this with at least 3 of your friends, either via text, social media, in-person or e-mail?

We are grateful that both have grown to a place where they each need the focused leadership of one person.

Thanks for your prayers, encouragement and support along the journey. The work is not done and we are expectant for what the next 16 months and beyond looks like in Rwanda, Iraq, Cameroon, and the many other places the Lord might use us to bring transformative education in countries recovering from war.
